PayPal is considered an absolute must-have in many niches, as it’s still the standard way that non-business people give and receive money online.
Customers don’t even need a PayPal account to pay via credit card, so you can see PayPal is perfect for any classifieds site and you really should have it on yours!
It used to be quite geo-restricted but PayPal is now available in 190 countries, so if you don’t already have a PayPal account you should be able to get one. Another great thing is there are no setup fees and you do not need a merchant account, though you do need a PayPal business account for automatic transactions (see How This Works below)
This extension integrates WPAdverts with PayPal for you, using PayPal’s standard system (PayPal Payments Standard, or PPS). This means things are very secure, because all transactions take place on PayPal’s site, not yours. That’s a serious weight off your shoulders and onto the very wide shoulders of PayPal, and this is a major reason customers love and trust websites that use this system!
Since checkout is completed on PayPal’s site, you need PayPal to send your website Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). Setting up IPN is a simple affair.

- View transactions logs in your Payments History panel
